Sensory Box March – Ice Cream Shop

I got the idea from Counting Coconuts (I love that blog!)

Contents:

About 30 wool pom poms in a plastic food tray

2 ice cream cone shaped bowls and spoons from Matalan

4 mini plastic bowls

Ice cream scoop

Small pom poms (sprinkles)

Little circles of foam sheet from the hole punch when I made the lacing cards

Ice lollies – felt and colour coded lolly sticks. My sister ‘made’ these for Eli when we did a mini busy bag swap. By made I mean gave me all of the stuff to sew together myself!

Eli loved it, we’ve made ice creams all afternoon

We had lots of customers.

Including some phone orders.

Cost: I don’t knit so I had to buy the wool, I bought a mixed pack of roll ends from eBay for £7 and the come shaped bowls cost £4. The special bowls aren’t strictly necessary, you could make cones out of card.

I’m thinking I might add in some menus, order sheets and money later on in the month.

Edit:Update and review here

I’ve got loads of odds and ends of wool that you could have had. Let me know if you ever need any in future.
