I planned on making two sets of Sleepover Pals from my Wee Wonderfuls book for two of my nieces for Christmas. Looking at the picture I assumed they’d be hand sized but when I sewed one up they were much bigger than I expected – I must learn to read patterns properly!!!
I decided that I’d make each of them one doll because three largish dolls seemed a little young for them. (5 and 6 years old). It’s hard to explain – it made sense at the time. I loved the pattern and would definitely do it again for a younger girl.
I made up the pattern for the fleece lined sleeping bags (as I went along!). Don’t they look cosy!
