Pinterest Challenge Day 2 – Colour sorting muffin tray

Pinned here

My husband doesn’t like us using empty egg boxes – apparently there’s more salmonella on the outside of eggs than the inside – so I used a muffin tin (have I mentioned how much I love muffin tins?!) I printed out coloured circles and just put them in – they’re not stuck down or anything.

E was interested for a while although he didn’t like putting different types of objects of the same colour together – that’ll be the toddler OCD.

Pinterest Challenge Day 1 – Sticking with scraps

Another great activity with things you have around the house. I used an old cereal box for the letter; if you don’t have fabric this would work just as well with paper.

Unfortunately Eli decided he was not interested in it at all, but I’m sure he’ll come back to it!

A pinteresting challenge.

This week is half term so I’m challenging myself to create something from one of my pinterest boards and blogging about it every day. (Sunday-Friday so at least 6 things!!)

I’m also going to find and upload the rest of the christmas makes so there should be lots of updates this week.

Let me know if you want to join in with my challenge and we can egg each other on!

Oven Gloves

Eli loved playing with our oven gloves so I made him a set for Christmas.

I sewed together 3 layers of fabric – denim on one side a blue checked fabric on the other and layer of fleece in the middle

I made the long bit and the hand pieces as 3 separate parts and then hand stitched them together because my sewing machine couldn’t take it!

Eli uses them to make porridge in the microwave!
