Today is Ben’s birthday – he is 16 days younger than me. Eli and I made him a carrot cake. Eli’s pretty fun to bake with lately; he’s vaguely able to follow instructions and he gets really excited about it.
He is not good at waiting though so as soon as it was iced we had to put the candles in and get singing.
I think he may be confused as to whose birthday it is!
The recipe was from The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook it tastes great and was easy to make.
Cuteness!(that is a fab carrot cake recipe and it works really well as gluten free – should you care to entertain a glutard!).
