Robot Day post 3: Robot Sensory box

This is June’s sensory box as part of our robot theme from the weekend. (Other posts here and here)

Again it was inspired by counting coconuts. Basically it’s a somewhat random selection of anything we could use to make a robot out of. The contents include:

  • cut up kitchen roll tubs
  • tissue paper squares
  • buttons
  • glass beads
  • pipe-cleaners
  • goggly eyes
  • pom poms
  • paper clips
  • shiny card

and whatever else I could find that seemed appropriate. I was very brave and didn’t try and sort it into different containers

I labelled it using letters from Early Learning HQ. E was quite interested in the letters in the Zoo Box so I thought it was a good idea to continue to label the boxes

We’ve made various robots

The only thing I bought was some silver paint so the box was a bargain!

E is a robot apparently!
